I am SOOOOOO sick of people listing everything as French! French rug,birdcage,pots and pans that will look wonderful in your French country kitchen... blah blah blah... This morning I ran into a doily, just a doily... but its French .... from Arkansas oh and its "shabby" to boot!

A couple of years ago, the TV designers and decorators were all talking about the new wave of design: "French Apartment." I don't think it caught on.

VENTING PART 2
I was in Nashville at the Heart of Country tailgate the year SHABBY was born.I was in Houston at HADA when half the show was French country... with actual dealers from France doing it... I know it is/was the "rage"
