I don't listen to my home voicemail very often unless I'm expecting a call, so I just went through the last 1 1/2 months worth of calls.
A selling ID of mine that is relatively new received two telemarketing calls from eBay. Both callers were women and both were extremely hoarse. One was coughing the entire length of the message. First message was promoting eBay Stores. Second was to remind "me" of the 33% listing discount.
I wonder if they've contracted with a firm who uses home workers, in which case these ladies are probably paid by the call. Man, that's a tough way to make some extra cash.

You can set your preferences in My Ebay so you won't receive these calls. I never get them.

I get these calls..I think they are from the 801 area code. I just don't even answer, that's exactly what I need, a call from a salesperson who knows less about ebay than I do.

Actually, I'm not complaining about the calls. I always have one eBay ID that has no marketing restrictions at all.
They spend hundreds of millions of dollars PER QUARTER on marketing. I'm interested in seeing for myself where it goes. (Other than to me, that is.)
