YIPEE!! I have NO auctions running and have shipped everything purchased as of midnight last night. I am going on a repositioning cruise with my 80 year old mother and younger sister (pixiamom isn't going on this trip). My husband gets to stay home with the cats.

We start in NYC and end up in New Orleans with some tropical (I HOPE) ports in between. Hopefully Noel won't mess with us! Sounds like it will be hitting the Eastern seaboard about the time we scheduled to depart on Saturday. I am SO ready for this vacation! I have been working my tuckus off all Fall so now it's time to part-ee!

Have a good couple of weeks.

When did you stop running auctions? Or did you just close them? I really would like to know because when I do go away for a few days ... it is always a mess.
For instance next Thursday afternoon I am leaving for a tweenie weenie get-away . I will be back Sunday, Monday Nov 12th is a Federal holiday. I will miss Friday , Saturday and then of course Monday shipping.
NOW, to some this would be nothing, if a person paid on Thursday night and they sent it Tuesday. I ship 6 days a week normally . Almost always anything paid is sent the next business day.
Should stop my auctions? I only list Buy It Now.

Anyway, I hope you have a great time on your truly magnificent sounding vacation.

Have a wonderful trip negus. I have really felt a need to step back from eBay for a while, with poor sales and a terrible exchange rate on the US dollar, I have lost my motiviation. Trouble is, being disabled I have nowhere to go. Oh well, I'll just keep going I guess. I am sure you will come back with a new zest for selling.

deur - I planned to have my auctions end no later than Wednesday night. I could hardly wait until the last one ended so I could put my store on vacation and post my vacation notices!

Since I sell relatively low cost items and my buyers are the "salt of the earth" I shipped many items before I received payment. I literally shipped every single thing, paid or not, purchased by midnight 11-1.I figured out a rather complicated, but functional, way to track these on Vendio.

I have my automatic notifications setto let buyers know of my vacation in case they didn't see the notices.

I am crossing my fingers that it will work out ok but it has in the past. Hope you have fun on your getaway.

Norwegian Spirit, I presume. We were in Halifax the same day as Norwegian Dawn a few months ago. She left before us but then turned around and went back. Never did find out why.

While I prefer the elegance and the personal service on the Crystal ships, I've always wanted to try NCL's freestyle dining options.

Have a good trip.

My daughter and brand new son-in-law are flying off to Florida tonight to embark on their honeymoon cruise.

Thank goodness we only had one girl...weddings and wedding preparations take up an amazing amount of time. I'm exhausted!
