Oh me, I now have to deal with this. The buyer never completed my checkout and paid directly through PayPal. This is the address shown on PayPal:

007-0081
kC Dys
c
11219-7
Japan
g F

What would you do?

I would write and ask them to send the address in an email.

There's probably an easier way but that's what I would do.

Just by chance I went to the PayPal print label feature using the USPS link. Here is the address which was displayed:

Bill , I would tear up and then take a deep breath, put on my big girl pant*** and fire off a call or complaint to eBay , the buyer and Paypal.

Panties may upset some

What was the address that came with the "SOLD" message from Ebay? or the address listed on their contact info? I have had several weird addresses through PayPal due to translation problems or software glitches. Many times the address lines run together.

The ebay address was the same as I originally posted.

What the %*##, I think I just might print the USPS address from PayPal and mail the envelope to Japan.

Your computer doesn't have chinese language characters installed. Ask the buyer to send you the address in English.

I mailed the item this afternoon. I used the address that came from the PayPal USPS label. Sent it First Class International, insured by U-PIC.

Bill, the same thing happens to me with addresses in Kanji - I don't have it installed on my computer. I tried your approach, addressed it as shown, got it returned to me. I would ask them for a better address or cancel the order.
