I bought a load of DVDs which I put together a lot of 4 DVDs in an auction. I really didn't think they would draw any interest let alone sell. It turns out they are going waaaaay more than I thought they would. I have two more sets on the way in this weeks order. My question is this, would you bought this lot back on right way? I am afraid the losing bidders will be mad to see them listed again, even though some powerseller will probably put the same thing on for 99 Cents when they see that they will sell. I am really just attemping to move the slow sellers in my store and buy different inventory. I am using these auctions as a drawing card.

Can you use second chance offer instead?

If 2nd chance doesn't work, don't start the next auction until the first one has been paid for and received.

Second chance, for sure! Sometimes I forget about that. Selling those celebrity Christmas cards, I realized recently that I had a duplicate Rock Hudson card (he'd sent the same card two years, I suppose) and offered the second one via second chance.

Same for a matchbook cover I had two of. But often I'm not thinking clearly enough, LOL.

Also, if my second chance doesn't work, then I put it in my eBay store for the price it prevously sold for and maybe Make an Offer.

The reasoning being I am not sure I would have a second bidding war to drive the price up. It depends on the bidding activity of the first one.

I would send 1-day 2nd chance offers.

If 2nd chance not accepted, then list as BIN for the price it sold.

Or take a chance and list at 99 cents again.

I'm trying for the second chance offer, I offered it it to two people, so we'll see. They brought $50.00 which I thought was high.
