LOL!
With an opening bid of a million bucks, you'd think the least they could do is throw in shipping!!!

I must be really missing something here which with packing for my move would not surprise me! I am a little frazzled.
What is the advantage and for what reason would a person put up an auction like that?

And why is there no feed back shown for him?

You don't see his feedback because he is acting as a seller and his FB is from buying only. You have to click on "feedback as a buyer" or "all feedback" and then you will see it.

Must be some powerful dishwasher! I wonder if they meant it to be 100,00?
Good luck with the move otteropp.

I had a Bosch dishwasher once. It was pretty nice, but I don't remember spending quite that much on it. It needed repairs every 12 months or so, though, so maybe the new ones are more reliable and thus cost more.

You do not recall spending "quite that much" I would hope not.
On the other hand Bosch is a German brand and maybe the dollar has fallen even more against the Euro.

buyhigh,
No, I was pretty much just joking, in a dry sort of way...
I do, however, remember when $/DM was 4 to the dollar. I spent that summer in and around Germany, just as the $ was allowed to float, and watched my funds get decimated.
We're spending Xmas in Rome, and I expect to pay close to $1Million for a plate of pasta, so a dishwasher for a million seems cheap. Go Euro

cash - don't tell me that - I just bought a new Bosch dishwasher. Hopefully they've gotten better over the years
I can't believe how QUIET it is. You can not hear it running! At all!
I have to admit - I love Ebay at the moment!
We bought a new LG front load steam washer & dryer with pedestals (white), new Jenn-Air glass top convection oven/stove, new top of the line Bosch dishwasher, new GE microwave(all stainless steel) for $3200. We had to drive 2 hours to pick them up but everything was half price or less.

I just sent the seller a question asking if the opening price was a mistake.
Of course the downside to that is that I've just become one of those people who ask a question about an item even though they have no intention of bidding on it.

I was going to ask if she made a mistake too, but surely she/he knows by now???

glassgrl,
Don't worry, I'm sure that they have gotten better. I bought mine years ago, and the problems all had to do with the controls (i.e., the electronics), and that's an area that has seen great progress in the past decade. Bosch tried to be a bit ahead of its time, perhaps a bit too much ahead.
As far as the cleaning went, it was great (and used little water). It was so quiet sometimes that I'd touch it to see if it was on; you couldn't hear it, but it would vibrate enough to feel it on the fingertips.
I'm sure you'll enjoy it.

PS I don't have your brand of front washer, but I wonder why we used to have top loaders now.

I have just had a super idea!
We have a Bosch dishwasher in this house, I was going to leave it in when we sell but maybe I should ask DH to take it out and I could undercut the other Seller by listing it for only $499,999.00!
Seriously though...you will love your new one, I have had mine for 6 years, never a problem and I agree it is SO quiet that I have to check to see if the little red light is on to know if it is running.
Make sure you keep replenishing the Jet Dry container because if you don't keep it topped up it doesn't dry the dishes well at all.

well we really had no plans to renovate the kitchen and laundry room but it's all my husbands fault
He rented out the condo to a co-worker and promised him a washer & dryer came with the unit. The cheapest we could buy new ones would have been $500. Then I got the idea that it would make much better sense to upgrade MY washer & dryer than buy a new one for him.
Seriously - I read somewhere - Consumer Reports or something that the new washers (top loaders) don't clean well at all since they have the new government mandated water saving feature or something like that. They said the clothes came out as dirty as they went in.
I vacillated for weeks on what brand/make to buy and had just about decided on a Whirlpool Duet when I checked on Ebay and these had 8 hours to go. BTW I used the "within 250 miles" feature.
Then after I bid and won the washer & dryer the seller had the microwave for $112 and it didn't make sense NOT to buy that since we were going over there anyway.
After that was the stove since the fridge and microwave was now stainless steel and when I talked the seller down from $799 to $500 for the dishwasher, well....
So DH's Christmas shopping is done.
Now we just need new counter tops and I'll have to replace all those white knobs and handles on the cabinets...........

Glassgrl....LOL...I just love your way of thinking because that is exactly what happens at our house.
I say " I have an idea" then DH runs for the hills!
Surely your 'old ' flooring is not going to look good with all your new things so maybe you should do that too!

no we just got through installing travertine in the kitchen, foyer & bathroom (all adjoining) and wood laminate in the living room so he's safe with that.
THANKFULLY I like the cabinets so he's off the hook with that.
It took us 3 months to install the travertine doing a little when we could - but I would gladly do it all over again. This is the BEST floor I've ever had bar none.
I did buy the laminate underlayment on Ebay - great price too.
If anybody has the urge to lay tile I can highly recommend the Tavy Tile Puck available at Lowes.

new Jenn-Air glass top convection oven/stove
WOW, glassgrl, lucky, lucky you, really nice stove, bet it makes cooking a pleasure.
By the way as per your suggestion I has pull out upper & lower drawers installed in all my under counter & island cabinets. I don't know how I lived without them.
Edited because I
forgot to say Thanks for that suggestion.
