Do not list much but when I do it is to US only. Have in the past gotten ones asking "how much to ship to England?" and the questioneer cannot be found by Ebay.In some cases the auction number is non-existant. Lately have gotten a number of them on specific auctions with " How much to ship to Germany?" and and any information on the party asking the question cannot be revealed due to privacy laws. Wonder if phishers are using Germany as a cover due to this fact?

You probably know not to reply to such questions directly from your e-mail.
I get those, too, and I always go either to the auction page itself in My eBay or to My eBay Messages to see if the question is in one of those two places. If not, I ignore it.

They are always in my Ebay message box and I respond through ebay's message center. If the auction is not authentic I send to "spoof" Apparently none have my e-mail address so far.
Just wondering if Germany's (maybe other Euro countries as well) privacy laws are a good way for phishers to get around detection. Think I am being hit by the same guy under different ID's and he could be in the US or Nigeria for all I know.

Depending on what you're selling it might be US$ prices are so low in € that it's a bargain... I sell frequently to German and other € paying customers and welcome their nice Euros. (Most of my items are not of interest to scammers.)
