I don't know what's going on but the bright laddies at PayPal are screwing up the labels. I'm getting all sorts of errors, plus being asked to select a default shipping method (have one, you idiots, didn't you notice?), then told PayPal can't ship to the address I want.
Very annoying but not wholly unexpected. They always manage to break something at Christmas.

Fluff, I am surprised that you are not using Shipping Assistant. I thought you did. Why did you switch to PayPal?

I don't think you can pay for postage using the Shipping Assistant. You can print labels. If I'm wrong. . .wouldn't be surprising.
Fluffy - I have that problem off and on with PayPal. In fact, I've had a ton of problems with a number of web sites the last week or so. They aren't the only ones experience trouble. The difference is, PayPal probably screwed up all on their own. I did print two labels earlier this morning, though, with no trouble.

gasolineguys, I am able to print intermittently. The problem is that it takes about 15 minutes to print ONE label! Not to mention that it is aggravating to get most of the way through the process only to be told that PayPal Shipping is unavailable.
I print a LOT of labels in the course of the day, usually 50 to 70.
Bill, I went to PayPal Shipping for a variety of reasons, one being that in case of a dispute the tracking number is already right there. No more hunting through thousands of receipts to find it. I used to store receipts for 6 months. Now I don't keep them longer than 30 days.

We are not able to generate your label at this time. Your PayPal account was not charged. Please try again later.
PayPal Shipping is not available. We apologize for the inconvenience
I try to make a label for shipping with USPS and a page comes up for UPS shipping....

probably was listed here before, but I have enjoyed STAMPS for years and cost is almost nothing if you consider the flat rate divided by the amount of packages(becoming less then 3¢ per package), then you add the 1.5% from the reward of using PAYPAL debit card. 3 days results on insurance claims; very easy to use program, reports, and tracking; $20 referral bonuses; never been down more then an hour at a time(maybe 5 times in a yr that has happened); oh...and REAL (LOCAL) people to answer your questions if anything does arise.
