I first learned about Vendio making affiliate links from an eBay board, and now this:

TinyURL, and most of those similar services, are already ebay affiliates if you were not aware. That's the whole reason for creating the URL shortening services in the first place. They just check the URL you're shortening for a pattern (i.e. ebay.com, amazon.com) and convert the link behind the scenes in the appropriate manner in order for it to count for them.

I am amazed at what our high eBay fees pay for. It is one thing to pay affiliates with content on their pages that direct you to eBay. It is another when sites exploit current eBay users (in some cases, image hosters) which divert current eBay users to their site.
