I didn't get some of my notices last night, and another this morning. This is the third cycle of missing messages I have had over the last 18 months. I know roadsmith had the same problem. If it's just me, I will contact eBay, last time the got the engineers to correct it.

Amber, you have my sympathy. I tore my hair over the problem, and after a few weeks it was miraculously healed. In the meantime, I had to go through My Ebay on all sales, and I didn't like it a bit.

Keep trying. Also, make sure your e-mail service is allowing the EOAs to come through.

Thanks roadsmith, I am getting some, but missing some, so I am sure it's not my server. I think I will contact eBay, like you, I always work from me EOA notices.

Ebay notices haven't been a problem for me. It's that $&&*$%%& PayPal that has become a problem. I haven't received a notice on either of my accounts in over a week. I thought it was odd, so I went in an checked and sure enough, payments. So I checked my preferences and they are properly checked. At least my Google Payments come through without a hitch.

Thankfully, I have had no problem with my Paypal notices, I think that would be worse.

Stone: Would you mind telling me how complicated it was to register for Google payments? And can you request them in your auction details, or does eBay not like that at all? Is there a google-payment button on the completed auction page?

Thanks in advance. I'm really interested in pursuing this. ~Adele (in the Frozen South--a foot of snow last night in our mountains, and it just began snowing again)

Hello is anyone going to look into this! I am missing many end of auction sold emails. I sell hundreds of costumes everyweek and that is how I print off my solds.

You have to report your own problem. You go to contact us, and click on View and report site issues. If you are lucky, they will hand it over to the engineers. I happened for me last time, still waiting this time.

Well, they have had a complaint from me. This is the reply I got.

"Thank you for writing eBay in regard to not being able to receive email
notification from eBay at your registered email address.

I apologize for any inconvenience you have experienced in regards to
this matter. I would like to inform you that we are aware that some
members are experiencing such kind of difficulties. The information
you've provided has already been sent to our engineers for further
investigation and correction. Currently we are working on this issue and
it will be resolved at the earliest.

I appreciate that you took the time to report this issue.

In the meanwhile I would recommend that you use "My eBay" to keep track
of the items that you are bidding on or selling. That way even if the
notifications are delayed, you will still be aware of the current state
of the auctions and be able to take any necessary action."

I do agree that at this time this email has not resolved your problem,
but please bear with us till this gets resolved.

I appreciate your patience and understanding regarding this matter, and
wish you continued success on eBay."

I am missing 2 more notices today.

Bad Adele, on my left shoulder, whispers to me that eBay is trying to force sellers to use My eBay for end-of-auction information. (Good Adele, on right shoulder, wants to believe that can't be true!)

I have downloaded the eBay toolbar, I then get the little picture come up on my Outlook Express, so I can see that someone has bid. I would still prefer my EOA notices, I like to refer back to them.

No EOA of a sale made 4 hours ago, nor is it in My Ebay. It does show with Vendio.

Missing 3 more again overnight. Everyday I am missing about 1/4 of my end of auction notices. I can't believe we don't have other people are having the same problem. I have cleaned my cookies-I have no one blocked in my emails I have opted out of receiving emails and back in again. This has got to be a ebay problem. I have a time warner central new york road runner email address twcny.rr.com could that be the problem???

I wrote to ebay again to tell them I am still missing emails every day. Here is what they said;

I appreciate your question and will be happy to assist you.

We are not receiving any additional reports regarding this matter, so it
seems to be an isolated situation. I recommend that you contact Road
Runner directly and find out if they have blocked it on their end as
spam as some Email Service Providers have been known to do that in the
past. Another option would be to change the email address on file with
eBay to see if the emails are received at the new email address and just
not being received from Road Runner.

I hope this information helps. Please let me know if I can be of further
assistance.

Sincerely,

I will repeat what was said earlier....as of the 20th...EVERY EFFORT will be made FROM eBay to LOWER your DSR numbers for the 30 dya period. What better way then NOT informing you something sold...I don't really like it, but I use the EBAY TOOLBAR that buzzes or beeps for sold items.

I forwarded this link to ebay to let them know that yes other people are having problems and this is the email I got back;

I appreciate you forwarding me this information.

I have forwarded it on to our technical team for further review of the
situation. I do not currently have an ETA for a fix, so I appreciate
your patience in the meantime.

Thank you again for writing.

This morning I am missing all "my messages", just found them when I went onto my eBay. I guess it is spreading!

I didn't received any EOA notices from the last time I sold which is about 2 weeks ago. I only work through MY EBAY sold area as I send my invoices personally. That way, I hope, I don't miss any. I did miss a PayPal payment and didn't notice it until I went into the auction page and it said paid through paypal. Sure enough it was there.
If it happens to me and I have only 16 auctions listed I can't imagine a bigger seller and what they go through. Is it worth it? I don't know. I don't want to pay for a service that doesn't work and I am sure others don't either. I will be included in that inflated FVF and 5cent lower listine fee, and I don't like it. I want buyers to buy my items but with the raise in FVF I can't list and make a profit with that. I don't want to raise my prices on items that shouldn't be raised. I sell at a fair market price I don't want to inflate it just to pay eBay fees. I need my money just as much as eBay does. Maybe more so.

still missing these daily!! Wonder how eBay would feel if we ALL posted an ADDITION to EVERY one of our auction descriptions explaining their "new" DSR standards and how we are NOW MISSING end of auction notices, etc. ... which causes us to have LOWER DSR in communicating
