You search just plain DVDs and you come up with 55,000+ items under $1.00.
Out of the 135,000+ nonfiction books listed...32,400 are under $1.00
Those are just TWO simple categories that have almost 100,000 AUCTIONS that will be NULL & VOID come Feb. 20th. Due to the fact that you can NOT list any item as of the 20th for 99¢ or below!
Wonder if the "relisting option" will fail and they automatically drop out...that is adding up to an ebay system crash by itself.
Also wonder what those HUGE store sellers with 10,000 items will do, that is A LOT of revisions! Like JAYANDMARIE...367,000 feedback and still can't get that DSR discount! Boy....5200 auction revisions...NO MORE --- 1 CENT CD sale....
***sorry***yes it is only STORE INVENTORY and FIXED PRICE items that NO LONGER can be listed at 99¢ and below..but that is still A LOT of items******

You will still be able to list at .99.
You will still be able to list at .01.
It will a nickel cheaper to list .01-.99 auctions.
The FVF will be higher.

Oh crap, lol.
Sorry, I just noticed the n/a. I thought it meant that no fees were involved.
ETA: it makes sense though. If you are listing so cheaply in your store you are no doubt over-charging (per eBay standards) on shipping and handling to compensate. They're trying to stop this practice.

ebay will be giving you 60 days to bring the STORE and FIXED PRICE items UP TO the $1.00 or above.... then they will start charging regular listing fees to them.

yes..that is what I thought at first when these fees came out..that up to 99¢ would be FREE....WHAT WAS I THINKING...ebay give something for free!?!?!?...NOT.
I feel they should have left the 99¢ and made that the cutoff...99¢ and above would have been more appealing.

The fallacy is that only small sellers are affected by the pending eBay changes. My guess is that the big guys are hurting too.

This may be OT,but I went to a book store one day and inquire of a foreign movie which fetches around 20 dollars on Ebay.
They said they have the original copy and it would cost me 2 dollars per disk,so total is 4 dollars.
I agreed and they just go to the back and made copies on their machine.
The pictures are very good, but what if someone reports them?

AMZN sellers used to list books at one penny and made money on shipping(mostly paperbacks) .

Many brick and mortar stores have gone under, caught between the cyber sellers and the big box stores such as Barnes and Noble and Border.
