Just did a search on eBay for Christmas Seal. It indicates 271 items found. No store items shown and you are at the bottom with the yahoo ads.

Would you please stop saying "Yahoo adwords"?

It's Yahoo Search Marketing (YSM) or Google AdWords. Two different products, similar in concept. It's like saying "McDonald's Whopper".

Sorry, Bill. It's one of those things that drive me nuts. I know that you buy both YSM and AdWords, and you certainly have the Web blanketed for the keyword "Christmas Seals".

I think there's a 10 cent minimum bid on YSM so I probably have a good idea what you're spending. "Christmas Seals" is probably obscure enough that Google won't pull the infamous low quality score scam on you, at least for now. So your costs are manageable.

I love YSM. AdWords will never get another penny from me.

I got impressions like that when ebay offered free ads with premium ebay stores (that was a GREAT benefit)- the conversions were not that great but every little bit helps ... and they were FREE!

Bill,

That is really what the low quality score thing is about. You're lucky you're doing this on YSM; when Google sees a huge number of impressions with very few conversions, they assign a low quality score to your keywords. They'll arbitrarily raise the price of those keywords 5x, 10x or even 20x. It has happened to a lot of people.
