I got the card and it is great! I am sure the little building is a camera obscura. I know there was one there in the 1920s. I don't know if there is feedback for Vendio stores so I will make my own:
+ Great Card! Perfect Transaction! Thanks! Seller: Pixiamom

I left feedback today for a very new seller - 5 feedback. I thought it was important to say:
"These are great! ***** I gave you 5 stars across the board! *****"
I wanted this new seller to know that she excelled in all areas and not just look at those ***** and try to figure out what I'd left for feedback.

Thank you! Was the camera obscura similar to the one at Cliff House?

Same idea but it was a more traditional style, a hexagonal building with the lens on the top. The one in San Francisco has been made to look like a camera. Also SF rotates with an electric motor. The one at Yarmouth must have moved by hand. I will let you know when I post it on my website.
Thanks again for putting it up.

No feedback on vendio stores. Had a good experience buying from Ralphie and left the same type of feedback for him, here in these forums.
I think we should try and buy from each other when we can. My sister and I have purchased from neglus, pixi, pmelcher, cheryl, ralphie and received excellent service from all!

I started to write an email to her with my feedback but decided to share it here. Pixi sent me a link the the item so I really have not done any searching in Vendio stores. The eBay Outlookers with Vendio stores should put a link in their sig line so se can find them when we search.

Photo - Do you have a postcard from the Promenade des Anglais at Nice, France? I just came across one with a little octagonal (could be hexagonal - just not square) building to the left of the pier. I will scan it later if you are interested.

neglus, I don't have any from France. I would be interested in seeing it. There are of course other kinds of buildings that can have that shape. I will so some research and see if I can find any mention of that location.
I can even buy one for a know location that I already have and find it is no longer a camera obscura. I have one clearly marked from West Super Mare in the UK. Bought another and under magnification the Camera Obscura sign has become Cigars! Obviously it was repurposed.

Photo - Here is a scan. The roof looks kind of funny - perhaps it is a kiosk after all.

Neglus,
Thanks for posting it. I think it is a news stand or tobacco stand. It is small for a camera obscura. It would need to be bigger to hold enough people to make it financially viable.
