I just found this in an auction.
"This lovely lamp from Underwriters Laboratories" I didn't know that Underwriters Laboratories made lamps, but come to think of it, they signed almost all the lamps I've seen.

As someone who has been to their labs north of Chicago, they don't make lamps... <sigh>. They have put about 6 Billion marks (such as the one mentioned) on items since they started more than 100 years ago.

Came across a powerseller with 22,000+ feedback and 4.5 in DSRs...reading their feedbacks gotta laugh...I think their DSRs are gonna go even lower:
