Everyone knows I'm doing an estate. It's been going extremely well considering. . .my cousin died on Saturday, my mother was put in hospice yesterday and my step-grandmother died today. Sigh. However, it's the ASQ's that are driving me nuts!!!!!!! I must get 20-30 per day. I've taken to not answering them. I just don't have the time. I've taken on a couple more TA jobs. I'm not selling internationally right now. So, of course, I get the why can't I bid on your item ASQ's. Then I get the ones that ask questions that can be answered in the ad itself. I ignore those two types. I do try to answer some of the more significant ones, though.

I just needed to rant! I can't rant at anyone around here. We're all stressed to the breaking point! On the lighter side, the Daisy Targeteer is getting bids on bbairguns.com. And, I got a $10 sign up bonus so it's not going to cost a thing to sell it!

I'm so sorry about your cousin and grandmother and I hope your mother is not suffering.

Rant away!

Join the club. I took quite an extended vacation from ASQ but I'm back on the wagon now.

zippy - She's not suffering. We are and have been for a couple of years. She's in the final stages of Alzheimer's. It's terribly hard to see her and to know that she recognizes you, but doesn't really know who you are. She beams when I enter the room, but I think that's just because right now I'm a familiar face. She doesn't remember how to eat anymore and is now just a shadow of her former self. I sure wish they'd hurry and find a cure for this. My grandmother had it as well. Doesn't look good for me.

Don't worry about the email, Cheryl, you're doing exactly right.

I'm sorry about your family members. I can't imagine what it's like to have all that descend at once.

Alzheimers is such an awful illness. I can't imagine watching a loved one change so dramatically. I'm so sorry. It must be very hard.

Hang in there, Cheryl. I'm so sorry to hear about your family members.

You're right to do triage on the ASQs; give the meaningful ones a moment of your time and ignore the rest.

I'm sorry to hear of your sadness. Let the ASQ's go, frivolous stuff is not worth the effort. Take care of yourself and your family first.

Ya, Fluffy, happening all at once is really tough! I lost it today and went nuts on Ken. Fortunately, he was prepared.

I have a box full of old, old perfume that's part of this estate. Let me tell you this. . .perfume DOES NOT get better with age. 50 year old perfume is awful. Ugh! I ended up emptying most of it and washing them out for the bottles. I just couldn't imagine sending that kind of thing to someone. YUK! I did find some great czech glass bottles, though.

I'm only answering the important questions. I'm too pooped to do any more than that. I'd like to know when I get my PS status back, though. I sold about $5,500 worth of items in the last 30 days!

Concentrate on family and forget about DSR's. I'll be honest, my vacation from email and ASQ was >6 months and my DSR communication rating is 4.8.
