Is there a way to see what stars an individual buyer who's left feedback has left for me? I thought someone here gave that info a while back, but I don't have it. ~Adele

Pepsi: Huh? It's a serious question! I know I can see it for feedback left on Amazon, and I might be confusing the two venues.

Road, it's funny because there have been tons of threads about how unfair the DSRs are, in that you can't tell who left you what feedback.

ROAD...sorry...it is just that eBay will never let us see that...it is their latest way to mess with us sellers and we have NO control.
---->eBay themselves could be placing them as far as we know. You get close to that 15% discount....oops look at that you got dinged...hehe...must have been that buyer you had last week. You know the best test would be NOT to do anything(selling) for a month and see how those DSRs will probably still change
---->I noticed this past week that those "ghost" or "missing" end of auction notices started happening again. Creating the possibility of missing a "quick" communication and thus affecting your DSR
---->just wait...two weeks when the postal rates go up...yikes...time for a vacation then also. The last time eBay seemed to have "technical" problems...
Basically...just have to go with the flow. My first discount was LESS then the cost of the store. So as for the DSR numbers...let them play their games...I made far more money by simply raising my S/H charge by 25-50¢ per item.
I sell a large amount on Amazon. Their feedback program is also a joke. Maybe 5% of the buyers leave feedback, then Amazon will turn around and start threatening you about your customer service level. "It needs to be at a certain AMAZON standard"...well usually the only ones leaving feedback are with issues. These "issues" stem from 95% of the items sold are sent MEDIA...which will NEVER be fast enough for the buyers.

Pepsi: Thanks for the comments. I do remember all the hoo-haw about the stars and have disliked the system from the start. It's Amazon that shows my "grade" from a buyer--from 1 to 5.
With Amazon buyers, I ask them to let me know when the book has arrived at their door. When they notify me of that, I ask if they'll take a moment of their time and leave feedback, that "every little bit helps." I also tell them I leave feedback for every buyer who does so. I've had decent results, but nothing like how many FBs we get in eBay. I'm at 5 stars in Amazon, 5 stars in eBay right now. But that could change in a twinkling!
