I think they are working on an integration with Anadale - looks like other enhancements are on hold til then.

Using the Vendio system in its current condition is similar to fly fishing with leaky hip waders or boots. Slowly sinking and no progress being made.

I guess I'm the odd one out on this subject. I've had no major problems with Vendio in 8 years and love listing through them, with the multiple photos and easy-to-read current auctions, pending auctions, and closed auctions lists.

Good for you. I would write more, however, I have to shake the water out of my hip waders.

I've been with them for 8 years too, Adele. I like the features you describe. Some new templates would be nice, tho.

Oh, yes, Neva! That's my only gripe (though relatively minor). I (and many many others) don't like that we can't get rid of templates we're not using and can't sort them in the order we'd like. People have complained about them for a long time, with no success. (Hard to understand!)
I'd been complaining that there was no dignified "books" template offered, and Neglus made one for me, bless her, which I still use.

I've been happy with Vendio as well. If you compare them to ebay - well there just isn't any comparison.

Long-timer here too. We been requesting the same changes for years. There is an engineer somewhere that has some pretty old requests of mine. Ink has faded by now and the barriers to exit are so high I can't imagine going anywhere else unless they kick me out.

Ok, back from Church. Look, basically Vendio is a great place. If you are pleased " ... with the multiple photos and easy-to-read current auctions, pending auctions, and closed auctions lists... " then I agree with you liking to list through them.
However, I too have tired of waiting for the promised changes. Like Beth, I am here until the kick me out, or close the doors. My only fear is that the changes will be introduced in the Fall.

What I like MOST about vendio besides its easy to list stuff is they have held the line pretty well on fees.
If enough people ask them to do more and different things V is going to expect to be paid for it.
I don't use or need most of the stuff V offers now. I'm happy with your service Vendio pls don't change anything and pls pls don't sellout to you know who!!!!

Alldings: I started with Vendio when it was Auction Watch and free. Many of the new additions introduced with the last fee increase are not used by me either. I like Vendio 99.99% of the time.
However, I do use the desktop launcher and for months, the preview does not work when launching a vendio store item. I reported it and it was sent to the engineer. Still doesn't work.
I use the store and like it very much. However, in some browsers when you search the vendio store and hit return instead of the search button it replies that there are no items that meet your search requirements, when actually there are. I reported that and the fact that you cannot do a specfic search...ie., "war" without the engine returning every title that has the letters war in it over a year ago. If you want to accept credit cards it has to be Verisign which was bought by Paypal. The feeds are intermittent and Detective Bill is usually the one who has to report it and get it fixed. Most of this gets reported to the engineers.
I use Sales Manager Pro to launch auctions but wish I could enter a fixed price for Canadian shipping like you can on eBay. But vendio doesn't have that yet. Oh yeah, the engineers have that request.
We used to create a list every year of what we would like to see on Vendio. It was a long list. Like you I don't want to see the prices increase. It seems like everyone is getting their share of our income: ebay, paypal, endicia, vendio. I can see why so many of my competitors have moved to Auctiva. Since it is free it gives them a bit of a competitive advantage.

If you compare them to ebay - well there just isn't any comparison.
If you compare eBay to a dead cat, the dead cat wins.
I held out using a second party listing service until this past year. I am using Auctiva and frankly I love it. I should have started using them years ago.
It's not going to help you much liberty though. They only provide for Ebay so Amazon is out.

Adele or someone who used Vendio to list - I haven't listed in awhile and after preparing my listing and doing a Quick Preview, I find that instead of the usual Vendio Gallery where you see pics of my other listings, there is a small window "Click here to get the latest Macromedia Flash Player". I clicked it and rebooted and its still there. How can I get my gallery back??

Neva: I don't think the gallery shows UNTIL your items' auctions have actually launched.
I've not seen that "macromedia" link or message on mine. I didn't see the gallery when I just checked one of my current auctions ending tonight, because it wasn't at the top of the page. I scrolled down, and there it was, above the actual listing.
If this doesn't do it for you, ask the question in the Vendio message board for users; you should get a quick answer. Good luck!

Thanks Adele - I just got a new computer so maybe that has something to do with it. Will try the other board.
