I had an ad slip into the eBay Sales Manager as paid via Paypal. Went to the listing and there bright and big it said: payment was sent May 18 to vintageads4u@...
Only problem, no such payment occured. Check on Paypal, no. Check all emails, no.
Then, I clicked on view Paypal transaction details. Entered my password and it came up that I had the wrong password. Well, YEAH because the email associated with the payment was: [email protected]
Not my address. So Paypal says yeah, that's wierd, eBay problem. And eBay says yeah, that's wierd, Paypal problem.
Will call the buyer later and see if the payment is unclaimed in his account.

Things are really screwed up! Transactions that I know I left feedback for are saying I need to leave feedback and they are actually letting me leave it. Transactions that have been paid for and shipped are telling me they aren't paid and I have to re-mark them as being paid. EBay made a real mess of things this time.

Watch out for those emails saying you need to leave f/b. Chances are that they are spoof emails. Had one about 5 days ago.
