The current link for the store connector provides an unknown file (at least for me). Does anyone have a link that works?

Also tried to do a manual feed and ebay only provides me 998 of my 3100 listings. Anyone have any insight on that?

I've posted this on the tech board at eBay and emailed but thought I would check here too.

Thanks.
Beth

Beth,

We've had difficulty (as most everyone did) with the Google Base Store Connector for months leading up to the change we made.

Through reading the details over on the Boards and then through Google, we've set up an automatic feed from eBay to Google - and it's worked like a charm for the past 3 weeks. We have it set up to pull the feed weekly (you can set it for more frequently, but that works for us) - and we haven't had to worry about the upgrade of the Store Connector or forgetting to do it at least weekly.

The info to get it done was found over on the eBay boards - then it required getting some more info out of Google - and it was a multi-step process - but once done, it's been working.

That said - we have 250+ items - so not near the numbers you're talking about.

Beth,

I have the same problem as you. The ebay automatic feed only sends 900 and some items. It has been doing this for quite a while now. If I run the Google connector I eventually get most items posted, but this clunky connector program takes forever to run and post.

I have noticed though that when I have most items on Google, that 40% or more traffic comes from Google. But yet overall traffic total doesn't increase much. Almost seems like there is a limit to the amount of traffic ebay lets you have. But sales seem to be better when items show up through Google.

Funny how people do Google searches with the word "ebay" with their search terms. Why don't they just go to ebay and search?

Another thing that grinds my gears.

It seems like no matter where you list your stuff, ebay, amazon, website, etc. you have to really fight just to get seen. It shouldn't really be this tough just to sell stuff.

Amazon and Ebay both are now deciding for us what gets seen and when. That's really a shame.

It looks like the ebay auto feed may be working again. Traffic is up since the 18th.

Date This Month 4 wks ago 52 wks ago
18. 1,977 1,253 1,565
19. 1,600 1,181 1,402
20. 1,780 1,520 2,175
21. 2,040 1,592 1,609
22. 2,093 1,404 1,711
23. 2,470 1,496 1,960

When I check the Google base account, the feed shows a more accurate count.
