Interesting reasoning. He can't neg the buyer who left him a BS neutral, so he lists an auction for $500,000 so the whole world can see the picture and description.

I think sellers are so frustrated with the new feedback system, they are looking for any way to vent. Is there any chance eBay will see the unfairness of it all? I think they had just as well ditch feedback altogether, it doesn't mean anything anymore. Sellers can't even see who are bad buyers, and are having to bend over backwards to avoid negs.

Yet seller left + feedback. IMHO, very foolish. I will not build a buyer's + feedback if I feel feedback given to me was unwarranted. I would leave NO feedback.

I would say by the end of the year after the buyers have had a field day at Christmas, there will be several sellers decide to ditch E-Bay and do something else. I don't think E-bay will care as long as their bottom line looks good. The thing that interest me is if I can make money on E-Bay or not. I just don't want to spend a bunch of money listing stuff that is a waste of time to list. I had tryed a lot of new items and now I know what won't sell.

What a lame reason for a neutral.
A lot of buyers are seeing how this new policy is hurting them, too. There's nothing now that will make them stand out as exceptional buyers. They are on the same playing field as the crooks are and there are many who don't like that one bit.
