I purchased a huge lot of items at an auction and some of it was clear glass items about which I know NOTHING. I am hoping someone on here can help me as ya'll have always been so smart. I am going to try to list pics and if you can help I would be most grateful. Here I go with my fingers crossed.

here is a site that you might want to FAVORITE. It is mainly DEPRESSION GLASS, which I don't think that your pieces are, but still a good site to "keep";

Best bet is to go to the eBay pottery & glass board. There are some extremely sharp people there.

I would be interested in what you list as we've found that clear glass is a tough sell recently. It would be nice to know if it makes a comeback.

Personally, I find that glass items are the hardest to ID; I see glass here and there that *might* have some value but I really have no idea when it is cut glass. Good luck to you.

Thanks for all the great sites. I see some that look "similar" but am not sure. I guess I was hoping they would be worth a lot (dreaming). Some of it is really pretty and I may keep a piece or two of it and the ones I can't find I will list as glass and hope someone that knows will come along and bid. I will keep ya'll posted on what is going on with it.
Thanks!!

Good luck! I LOVE selling vintage glass but think it's the most difficult category because so many of the early pieces weren't marked. Also, a lot of the early makers sold their molds to other companies. The study of glass is, I think, a life-long process. For those of us who only occasionally sell glass pieces, I've found the people here to be extremely helpful and informative...Hope you'll find some experts who can give you some answers.

I have a lot of Wexford and Early American Prescut stored in boxes waiting for the prices to start rising. I do find though that some of these pieces are so heavy that the Postage costs deter buyers.
I took 6 very large glass bowls to a Swap Meet last year and practically gave them away for $4.00 each just as I was packing up.
Poor lady was only interested in ONE but I managed to sell her all of them and at least I didn't have to pack them up again.

There is a Yard Sales site here in my town that I list a lot of my items that won't bring enough money to sell on ebay. I think the wexford piece may end up on there as it is very heavy.
I will agree with Blueyes that the folks on here are always willing to help. I doh't think I have ever asked a question on here that didn't have several people answer. I do appreciate that.
