I don't normally sell computer software, but happened upon 2 great programs over the weekend.
They were set to launch tonight, and when they didn't, I checked my SM page.
It seems to sell software, you have to offer paypal or credit card payment options. News to me. I guess I'll have to find another outlet for them.

Congratulations, you just discover one of the 13,000 rules of Ebay.
So far I have learned-
-there is a daily limit on how many bidders you can contact (I am trying to tell my bidders I have to cancel the listing as I have family emergency and have to leave town)
-attention seller, your shipping fee seems high
-attention seller, such a such payment method is not allowed on Ebay
-attention bidder, seller can no longer leave you neutral or negative feedback,so go ahead and treat yourself
-attention seller, you have exceeded your limits of items for sale, wait till you sell some and then list some more
-attention seller, eat some crows,we dont care,we need sellers of all stripes and colors to make Ebay an exciting place to bid,and we cannot and will not treat seasoned responsible, honest sellers differently than we treat the scumbags and cheaters, all Ebay sellers are created and ABUSED equally.
-PLEASE DO NOT REPLY TO THIS MESSAGE,AS NO ONE IS HOME.

Amen! That is one of the thousand reasons why I started selling on Craigslist. so has my best-friend. No fees, a few crackpots but they come with greenbacks, NO Paypal. You open up an account and away you go.

Craigslist rules.

We have advertised our business in yellow pages, we have advertised in local newspapers and magazines... We've had numerous articles written about our business... and the only thing that brings customers into our store on a regular basis is Craigslist. We sell furniture, and list several items a day on CL.

Who'd a thunk a free service would bring us the most business.

I would estimate that CL has brought us $50K or more a year in added revenue... and for free. While I have wasted thousands of dollars using other media... with little or no results.
