Trying to search for anything returns the message:

We were unable to run the search you entered. Please try again in a few minutes.

Problem is widespread and being reported all over the country.

Here's a hint of what may have happened:

Members are seeing intermittent errors when trying to browse and search on the eBay site or register a new account.

We are aware of the issue and are working to fix it as quickly as possible.
