I can't locate an important mailing receipt. I know the date I mailed the item. Can the post office generate a duplicate receipt or am I SOL?

Did you use any of the online shipping services
you maybe able to track it that way if you paid thru pay pal or click and ship something like that.
If you get a real sympathetic clerk or supervisor and you know what time you mailed the item or used a credit card you may also track it that way.
