As another VERY DISGUSTED, long-time seller on eBay (since 1998 with over 7100 + feedbacks); I'm looking for some advice AND a NEW place to sell!!! I keep seeing ads for "vendio" stores. If you have one, PLEASE let me know some results of it. I would very much like to get away from eBay totally because of the latest "PayPal" push (paperless payments). I've taken PayPal before only to have been scammed over several times LIKE many, many others and do NOT intend to take it again. Bottom line, is a "Vendio Store" effective without eBay listings???? Do "Vendio Store" listings (without eBay) SHOW up anywhere else? Lastly, other auctions sites or fixed priced (with "offers" where you can take checks or money orders ONLY? Thanks for your time.
Cheers, Bill (leprechan2)

Hello Bill,
If you subscribe to a Vendio Store, then your Vendio Store items are automatically sent to Google Product Search (formerly Froogle) at no additional charge. You also have the option of opening an account with Shopzilla, and having your Vendio Store items sent to Shopzilla. There is no Vendio charge for this, but Shopzilla does charge you for the Shopzilla account.
We do have many customer that have a Vendio Store, but do not also list on eBay.

While it's true that Vendio stores items are submitted to Google Product Search, just about every other site does it too. For example, I have a Google feed set up for my items that are listed on Bonanzle.
This isn't enough to get you away from eBay, though, in my opinion. And if you decide to go with a Vendio store, you will need to work like the dickens to send traffic to it. You can buy traffic from Google or Yahoo, or you can try to divert your eBay buyers.
