They say we will have the handling time option available before eBay starts pulling items that don't have handling time. I have been asking for handling time since it first appeared on the ebay SYI form in 2006.
I wouldn't hold your breath for the no returns option either.

Hello,
That is correct, prior to it becoming an eBay requirement, we will make it available to choose from our listing form here (and make it available to be defaulted to in your preferences for items created prior to the handling time field becoming available.)
In October eBay revised it's timeframe again for this policy change as noted:
"The new enforcement date for mandatory Return Policy and Handling Time will be in early 2009. To give sellers adequate time to get their listings ready, we’ll be giving sellers at least 30 days notice before we start enforcement. "

Is there a target date?? I have 100's of new listings to create and would appreciate not having to edit them after the fact along with 1800 others...
Please, by when will you have this?? Please rush...

Hello,
There is no specific date scheduled for this release at this time.
To clarify, you will not have to revise your listings once this is available. You can simply default this setting once available for all existing items, once it becomes an eBay requirement.
