This isn't working for me unless I am doing something wrong. any suggestions???

Are you signed up for a Fed Ex account? That is the best way to deal with it. I also would call a Fed Ex Salesperson and tell them you want more discounts. Give them your shipping info and they'll work up a great deal for you. Whenever I give a shipping quote I use their standard rate for the customer which is 20% higher than the discounted rate I get. Helps cover some of the costs.
I prefer Fed Ex. I've only had one problem with them and they fixed it with a few phone calls... UPS on the other hand has always been a nightmare. Their slogan, "ship brown" says it all.

I know with UPS you get a discount for ebay shipping. With Google Checkout you get a Fedex discount.
I haven't really used either but I'll have to go to one or the other now that DHL is gone. They will be more expense but hopefully they won't break as much stuff as DHL did.

Yes, I am signed up and have an account no. etc. I don't ship high volume, maybe 4 or 5 a week, so doubt if they will give me a discount, but will try. I left a message for a tech to call me so I can go through it all.

Lady, I had great success with DHL ground. No breakage at all. Their billing is a bit screwed up but I manage to figure it out.

I used them to ship chairs, lamp and even a buffet (which they smashed one corner).
I used them about 5 or 6 times a week and averaged 1 broken item every 2 months or so. I guess it could have been worst.
