Here's the freeway by me in Portland. Snow which is expected to turn into freezing rain. Nobody's going anywhere in the near future. How's the weather in your parts?

76 degrees and cloudy here in the Oldest City of St. Augustine. Front going through tonight and will get down in the 40's. Good fireplace weather.

St A. is known for their bed and breakfast accommodations. COME ON DOWN!

As you know my 9:45 flight to PDX was canceled due to bad weather here and there. I am glad I made the decision to rebook before heading to the airport - they didn't cancel the flight until 6 am! It was worth the 3 hour phone wait! They better get that freeway cleared by tomorrow!

Here it is -12 and sunny and very bright with about 6" new snow. Trying to decide whether to work this afternoon or go to the casino with a friend ....

Blizzard here in SW Ont. Canada. Most of the highways closed. 0 visibility on most roads, so no snowplows or sanders out.

As you may know pixia... that freeway photo is about 4 blocks from our store.

We were open yesterday 10am til 4. We sold 1 record for $6.00. Sales have been horrible during the storm and there isn't much we can do about it until things thaw out. Hopefully once that happens people will be in a spending frenzy... the audacity of hope.

OMG, it's freezing here! 8 degrees and -10 windchill. I've been in the house most of the day and didn't realize how cold it was until I stepped outside. Too cold for me!

Here on the usually very temperate Vancouver Island we have the same weather as Portland. We are presently experiencing our third fall of snow in a few days.

On the Praires of Canada in Calgary, we were used to it and it was actually a bit easier to get around but here in Victoria, the City does not even have a snow removal budget as it rarely snows!

Flights cancelled but the ferries to the mainland are still running as is the one to Washington State although where people think they can drive to once they get there beats me!

I always taught my Granddaughter not to use the word 'hate' so I can only say that "I am disliking it intensley...with a passion and am almost on the verge of using the forbidden word!

Nasty here in northern Indiana too. Ice storm on Friday, still 55,000 in Allen county without power and wind chill tonight going to -25. We have power (obviously) but lots of limbs down and some siding pulled off the house by limbs on phone line (what kind of fasteners did they use anyway??). Hang in there everyone, Spring will be back, this is the first day of Winter and hopefully it will get better from here on out.

Here in Jacksonville it's about the same as Niel's.
I love the light's over St Augustine viewed from A1A Bridge. I can't think of a better Christmas view anywhere.

Shaq, I think I know exactly exactly where you are. I thought of dumping a large box of greatly scratched LP's for you to dispose of when I cleaned out my storage unit (just kidding).

glassgrl - If it weren't for my children and grandchildren, I wouldn't be living here! I can't bring myself to leave them.
