Glassdoor.com has some interesting information on salaries and corporate culture at different companies posted by employees. They released a top 10 Best and Worst CEOs list based on employee approval ratings. You guessed it - Ebay's John Donohoe made the list - he received nearly a 50% disapproval rating:

Wasn't Meg on that list a couple of years ago too?

Very interesting read, Caroline, thank you for the link.

It's no wonder the employee's disapprove of him.
They MUST get yelled at daily by upset sellers and even some buyers.
Office Depot 80% employee disapproval rate?? YIKES

Wow, I love office Depot. It's hard to believe that the approval rating is so low. Maybe I am lucky and only go to the ones that are good.

last time i was at office depot the guy at the printing/copy department got a phone call from a creditor. he yelled at them to leave him alone at work and hung up.

since i used to work in collections i gave him the best advice to anyone that gets harrassing calls at work or even at home... mail them a letter telling them to stop calling you and only send correspondence by mail. they have to stop immediately.

he said it was a bill that was over 10 years old and they found him. i laughed and told him never to pay one penny on it. it is past the statute of limitations, and they could never collect it. once you pay a penny on the account, the ticking time bomb starts all over again.

of course, all of this advice was given with the following disclaimer, "i am not an attorney, so I suggest checking into the fair debt collections act for accurate information."

poor guy. really nice employee. even gave me some free prints the previous time i was there.
