I would really like a day with...no weather at all..we have had our West Coast major snowfalls for the past couple of weeks and that should be enough punishment for a year.
I expect pixiamom and anyone else in the Pacific Northwest has heard about the latest weather heading our way this afternoon!
An hour ago there was an advisory for VERY strong winds in Vancouver BC. and Victoria on Vancouver Island ( my location). It was very windy yesterday but today they are telling us to batten down the hatches and prepare.
The last time this happened was 2 years ago and we had hurricane force winds and lost power for almost a week and lots of damage.
I am making tea & coffee and putting it in thermal jugs. That is my emergency preparedness plan.

Yes please....cheese and crackers may just be all the dinner we get this evening. Cute kitty!
The good news is that we moved from our house into an apartment a year ago so if the roof is damaged then at least we don't have to find Contractors and foot the bill like we did last time! The bad news is that we are on the 8th floor so if the elevators are not working then we get some cardio excercise on the stairs!
