After a week or more of subzero weather here in Maine, yesterday we got 22" of snow dumped on us. I should be used to it by now. Kids love it because ..no school today...but my husband is not thrilled, snow blowing . I went to shovel out my mail box and it was over my knees and I got stuck...But I have to admit with sun is shining today, it's beautiful. But more storms coming...time to head south..

I have been saying that for 30 years and yet here I am - still in Minnesota and still hating winter. No school here today because of MLK day.
I should add that I will be on a beach in the Carribean in two weeks Only way to survive winter IMO

Spent Christmas week in Negril, but came home to this horrible weather. Tan faded quickly, memory of the warmth is about all I have left. Wife is bugging me to find another vacation deal.
Probably not a bad idea, since eBay is treading water.

Better begin some warm clothes for the next week. North Florida was in the 20's 2 days last week and we are headed back to the 30's for the next few days.
Don't get me wrong - I'm not complaining. I love our little cold snaps. It's the 95 degrees in the summer that gets me.
