"UGH, online sales keep getting more expensive."
Nothing compared to the cost of running a B/M store when nobody comes in.

Thank you for removing Fluff's comment and my subsequent one. I was reacting to her and that was wrong.

Deichen I don't believe that you were wrong to react by correcting Fluff's comment.

Plus, this information is useful to both buyers and sellers.

Thank you, Helen. I appreciate that.

Actually, I meant every word but see why it might have to be removed!

Without Fluff's comment the focus of your reply would not be clear. That's probably why your appropriate response to her was removed.

Must have been a really good one to have it removed! Darn, I'm sorry I missed it...Hope there was a good comeback involved too!

Frankly, this hike isn't really going to change anything as far as ebay sellers are concerned. That rate hike already happened last month.

I appreciate seeing the new rates. But the ONE rate I'm most interested in is media mail, and I see no mention of that anywhere. Am I blind?!

Still, I'd like to know about media mail. I cannot believe that it wouldn't be going up also!

Bill: I've tried to download the new numbers, but firefox keeps crashing on me. Does anyone here have a direct link to the NEW media mail prices? (I feel soooo inept.)

Thanks, Pixi--but that looks like the rates a few years ago! Can it be that the USPS has dropped rates on media mail? It's hard to believe!

Base rate right now, under 1#, is $2.23.

Ah, that's what I was looking for. Thanks so much! My husband has a book of historic photos of Idyllwild to be published in April, and we needed to put together an order coupon for our historical society members and the general public, for mail orders--especially after the rate increases in May. I wanted to be sure we weren't charging less than it would cost to mail, plus the bubble envelopes. ~Adele
