After getting an email that my item was sold I tried to get into INVOICE but there is no option to invoice the buyer on that page. Did I miss something??

No, I got some yesterday that had the Invoice option. Check the listing, maybe the buyer all ready paid or indicated that they were sending payment. Otherwise I don't know what is happening. Probably another 'improvement' we don't know about.

Thanks. Yes that is what happened. the buyer paid but I did not get an email to that effect. I guess they are now paperless.
