Hi, all: Yesterday I listed a couple of items. Question: If I opt, on the listing page, for international (UK) exposure, is that all I need to do? I didn't want to go to all that trouble filling out international info (package size and weight, etc.) if it's for naught. I don't know how to find out if checking that is all I need to do, if it takes, in other words.

I was wondering the same thing.
Also, if you add it and then relist under FP or in a store what will it cost?

You have to check that you will ship internationally. Some US items on the UK site give US shipping costs only. Ebay notes: Will dispatch to Worldwide. Contact the seller for additional postage costs and services.

Pixi: Thanks. That's all we need to do? It looked too simple! Adele

Ebay called today and mentioned the 1 cent UK visibility. They said you had to fill in the international shipping costs to be eligible for this deal.

If you have the option checked to mail your items worldwide, you should be able to log in to the UK site and check to see if your item is listed there.
I clear my cache so that I can check anonymously.
As far as I know I have always been able to see my items, I have overseas sales and I do not pay any extra fees for my listings.

rubys100, you are right. I just checked and my items were there without paying the extra penny. The Ebay lady on the phone tonight was wrong. She said in order to get UK visibility I would have to check the box and pay a penny. I told her I already had international buyers and she replied that the buyers must be logging into Ebay.US, but that does not appear to be true.

eBay called me yesterday and I think the 1-cent deal ends tomorrow .

Did anyone who used the 1-cent international visibility see any appreciable difference in hits or sales of the items that used ISV vs. the items that did not?
(I did not see any difference.)

Susan, I saw a difference but it was mainly because I loaded up on UK-related listings.

Ebay is so big they don't know what their site is doing half the time.
My items are on all the international sites and I get overseas sales from all countries.
I have no idea why they are charging a penny or more for this feature.
I am, however, so tired of their constant changes and trying to tell the sellers what to do instead of just letting us be the peer to peer site that made money.
They sure aren't making money anymore....
