A friend gave me a large clipping from the Wall Street Journal dated March 12th. Headlines: EBay Retreats in Web Retailing; Company Will Return to Its roots as Internet Flea Market, Put More Focus on PayPal.

The article is very interesting, and I can't access the WSJ to post a link to it.

One comment caught my eye: "EBay also is dealing with its own fumbles, many under the leadership of Ms. Whitman, the former CEO." And she wants to be governor of MY state?!!!!

Another statement: "EBay's PayPal unit has doubled in size over the past 18 months." I guess we all know why, huh. A monopoly is a monopoly.
