Is there a way to tell if an email is really from Paypal? I got one today using my full name saying that there was a technical issue, and a final value fee was not taken off. I can't find such an omission on my invoice. I also can't see where there are records on the Paypal site of emails sent out to users.

Why would paypal send you anything about a FVF? They have nothing to do with that. I would forward it to paypal for investigation.

Sorry, I should have said "fees".
"Because of a technical issue we experienced, we did not charge you the fee for a recent payment you received. To correct this mistake, three business days from today we will debit your PayPal account balance to collect this fee. In terms of next steps, you don’t need to do anything."
I did send it to spoof@paypal, but I find that they often don't reply to them. I can't see anything on the message that could be used to get information, I am just interested to know if there is somewhere on the Paypal site where you can see email that have been sent to you.

This does not sound like coming from Paypal.

Got a reply from Paypal.
"Thank you for writing PayPal.
The message you received appears to be an official email message sent on
behalf of eBay. These messages are usually sent because you indicated in
your eBay notification preferences that you wished to receive these
types of messages."
I don't know what it has to do with eBay, it was supposedly from Paypal.
