I received an email from a buyer because she wanted to have a better look at my item.
I send her a return email and asked her to go to the description and view the larger image.
She emailed me back and said if clicking on enlarge the item it will get smaller.
this is on the new item page.
I tried some of my other items and it is showing a smaller picture than the gallery picture. If you use the enlarge button.
The buyer can still go to the description and look at the larger picture in my image album.
Has any one else had the same problem or is it just me.

Hello,

I was able to duplicate the problem when creating a listing with click-to-enlarge images and viewing it with eBay's new item page, and I have asked our engineers to take a look. We will let you know once we hear back from them.

Regards,
Nathan

Which photo are you/the customer clicking on? If you click on the "enlarge photo" under the ebay gallery photo, it doesn't enlarge it. It only takes it to another window with the same size photo.

If you click on the photos hosted through Vendio in your item description, it takes me to my Vendio Image Gallery where the photo is enlarged, and it also gives the option for people to see items in my Vendio store with another click.

Hello,

Your results will vary depending on the original size of the image. The problem here is happening when you are using click-to-enlarge images, and you are viewing the listing with eBay's new Item Page. When you click on the eBay photo preview image (at the top left of the page in the listing), or on the "enlarge photo" link for that image, a pop-up is displayed with a smaller version of the image. The pop-up should be displaying the image in the larger size (the same size that you get when clicking on the image within the listing description).

Regards,
Nathan

I think the customer was clicking on the enlarge button on the gallery display.
If you do that on the old selling page, it will take you to the description and you could enlarge it from there.
I looked at some other listing in the new selling page and the only pictures that are there are the ones on the top.
maybe if there is a way, I have my picture show up full size in the description it will enlarge on the top section

Hello,

Yes, that is what is happening. Yes, if you disable the click-to-enlarge images this will no longer be a problem.

However, note that most buyers are not using the new eBay Item Page yet. Also note that I have escalated this to our engineers, and hopefully they will have it fixed soon.

Regards,
Nathan
