You can simply ignore the Store Ad errors. They are just to let you know that the item is not ready to be placed in your Vendio Store -- it won't stop you from listing the item to eBay. What are the eBay Ad errors that you are getting? Also, there are no items in your account with the title "leathercraft tools". What is the full and exact title of the item that you are having trouble with?
Please try entering text in the description section at the top of the create item page (under "Item Info" ) and let us know should you continue to get the error about the missing description.
Our user guide for the Create Item page may be located here:

hi
i don't know if you are still here but i got some help. maybe this will help you (i too am an auctiva refugee and what these companies all do is create these horrible, overly formatted forms when more flexiblity is better).
Anyway, start at the bottom. Go right down to the bottom where it says "EBAY" and click the plus sign. That's where the ebay form is. You got to work backward on this form. Ebay's form starts at the bottom. But as you fill in the description, it automatically is filled in for the store item also (just be sure you check, 'not visible in store' otherwise it will put that item in your store also.)
you must work up, filling in your shipping, paypal etc.
you put in your photos as the top.
what they have done is put everythign on one page, one form and it is overly formatted. Too much pre-filled this and that. So the system chokes on the slightest thing.
As long as you got your ebay info in, your photos in, (all shipping info etc.) you can post it right away or schedule it -- you remember that from auctiva? same thing.
I would ignore error message about ebay i think this system has gotten overwhelmed very quickly my opinion and their method of creating auctions/items is just counterintuitive to what people are used to on ebay.
i hope this helps. good luck,
gmt

I've had nothing but problems with Vendio since I switched from Auctiva, too. I cannot get any of my listings to launch or schedule by using the Ebay Launch module; I have to use the Send To button to send each listing directly to Ebay. I want my auctions listed about 5 minutes apart so they don't end at the same time, but I have to physically sit at my computer and list each one individually since the schedule won't work. I have also lost the possibility of getting an insertion fee credit for the ONE item that Vendio relisted because it created a brand new item instead of relisting the item that had ended. I am switching back to Auctiva and paying them for a service that works. It's worth $10 a month to not have to sit at my computer for hours on end doing what this service claims to do for you.

hi amtnfritz
boy i feel your pain. I have decided that too. I think the vendio people know their system & when you know a system well they cannot see where people who are new get confused.
I personally think that every question, no matter how silly it seems, ought to be answered. Imagine having an auction and not answering a customer's question. Well i got an email from here saying they did not answer my first two questions because one of them tried to help by phone. I do appreciate that but when i tried to do what he explained, it did not work.
They also take a lot for granted. It is nice that people take the time to try to help on the community, but my God, i said repeatedly their software would download and not install and it was clear they did not grasp it. They assumed i was mistaken. Not the case.
But I got to say I give to credit for getting as far as you did with the form, getting it to post an auction on ebay. I could not get that far. I still feel the way things are set up are counter-intuitive to what people are used to with ebay. But they will never think that so help is resentful, or they want you to pay them. Me too, I am going to pay just for the image hosting on Auctiva at least they give 5mb for the same price as 3 mb here.
I wonder if vendio tried to lure auctiva customers with the platform offer, but because many find the overall set up so difficult, end up paying for help or -- as was suggested to me -- pay for the old image system. It was a big mistake to ever accept an offer of help by phone because in one short sitting you aren't going to grasp everything and what he did say and i wrote down, doesn't work that way. And now these folks end up blowing off questions. When a company is so resentful to offer help, and blow off questions saying "oh we helped you" that is just bad business. It doesn't generate goodwill or loyalty. No matter how silly the question may be, it is always the right thing to answer it. good luck. It has been a learning experience.
