On some items we are listing it is coming up with this error below, which incorrect because the items do have attributes and we are having to revise on ebay. Please advise when this will be fixed.

The error message coming back from eBay states the following:
"Error 21916514: Attributes and Custom Item Specifics combination are not allowed.
* Attributes and Custom Item Specifics combination are not allowed."
I checked how you have this item setup in inventory, and it does appear to have both eBay pre-formatted attributes as well as one custom attribute that you created yourself.
From the error message, it sounds like eBay wants you to either remove the eBay or your custom attributes before resubmitting this item.

We are not receiving an error with an error number. The statement is coming up when trying to enter item attributes on vendio(Edit Attributes:No item specifics required for the selected categories:No item specifics required for the selected categories). It will list the item from Vendio to Ebay without this information, but when we go to ebay there are attributes available for the items and then we have to revise the item to include the attributes, so items can be found more easily. If we are confusing the system how do we turn off the 1 custom attribute.

Ok, sorry for the confusion, that was an error that you are getting on a few of your items currently but may not be the issue your working on right now.
What is the title of this item that your trying to add attributes to where you run into this error message?

This is a few that had the message today. These are all shams & bedskirts, but yet we listed other shams & bedskirts and attributes worked properly. On the ones which did not work, we will have to revise on ebay.

Can you check to verify that the category itself is setup correctly for these items?
"2 NAUTICA HAVERHILL 2Tone EURO EUROPEAN SHAMS"
43395 is the category number currently assigned to the above item, but eBay doesn't recognize this category in their system which is likely why the attributes aren't coming up to edit/assign.
43397 is the current category number that eBay uses for the category your posting this item to. If you edit the category first to either browse and select the correct/current number or manually just put in 43397 - now when you edit the attributes they come up as they should.

Thank you that did work. It is odd as the items listed on ebay in category correct, yet category was missing on vendio when checked and the attributes would not come up on Vendio. You would think they would not have gone through. Anyway thank you again, mystery is solved.

Hi! Now back to the other issue with Error 21916514: Attributes and Custom Item Specifics combination are not allowed. I removed the custom I had created from the kicked-back error items and sent them through just fine. But the reason I had to add the custom is because the Brand did not come up in Vendios pre-formatted attributes, but yet is listed in Ebays, so again we had to go in and revise on Ebay. How can I fix this?
