After 12 years on Ebay and over 2500 positive comments 100% positive feedback and nearly perfect stars, I received my first neutral in 11 years, today.
There was no communication on his part about any problems or anything else for that matter. The problem was unknown to me, therefore not in the auction description.
The auction ended on June 29th, they paid immediately, I shipped the next day and they received it on July 2nd (tracked). They waited 9 days before leaving an unwarranted neutral.
Satisfaction is guaranteed or your money back, both of these statements are in the auction description.
I always send the buyer an email when shipped and request if there is any problems, questions or concerns to contact me, and I would rectify the situation.
They have been on Ebay since 2003,so they are not newbies, however only have 11 feedbacks, all positive.
Of course,I responded to the neutral that they didn't communicate the problem, but big deal to anyone checking my feedback.
In this day and age with instant communication, and satisfaction guaranteed why would anyone not want to resolve this problem in their favor?
Oh well, just a feel bad neutral rant.

This is a part of ebay's new system that is just totally unfair. The buyer could have just been having a bad day and took it out on you.
You could call ebay and ask that they remove it but it's probably a waste of time.

I posted positive feedback for him after I received payment,(dummy me).
I won't make that mistake again.
When I was a newbie I would post immediate positive feedback when the payment was made, then stopped that practice for a long while.
Recently started it again in a burst of false security and confidence.
I guess that shows me!

That is upseting for any Seller who has spent time building a good reputation! So rant on!!!

I was reading on the eBay Stores Board earlier about a Seller who always encloses Chocolate Bars with his Orders and he just received two Neutrals too!

Amazing the lack of common courtesy many of these buyers have.
I guess it's just a different mind set.
