Dave - When I go to my dashboard I show 5's all the way down yet I don't qualify because sometime ago someone dinged my stars. That new system is going to be grossly unfair. As if the current one isn't already.

Keep in mind that ebay uses their rating system to push sellers to get high ratings, that are virtually unachievable.
Case in point this seller who offers everything with free shipping but only has a shipping fee DSR of 4.8: http://feedback.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewFeedback2&userid=nextworth&ftab=AllFeedback&sspagename=VIP:feedback
We follow suit like a bunch of lemmings, packing items as the first bids hit the auction to get it out with one day handling, offering free shipping, free bonus items, and so on.
They force "competition" by pushing sellers to offer "free shipping" which is never free. Tell that to USPS, Fed Ex or UPS... "my auctions say I offer Free Shipping, so you will have to ship it for free." Ha!
Sellers still have to pay shipping to the shipping company and we have to pay more fees to ebay for compensating for our shipping costs by offering "free shipping".
Ebay wins no matter what. The only thing you should really use ebay for is to promote your own website by listing auctions that will attract people to your store.

How are you getting this information?
I can't find anything that shows how I stand.
Does anyone understand how this will be calculated if you don't get 10 FB's a month?

I have read this several times and still am not sure how it will work. Do you have to be a power seller to be included? The announcement reads like it was written by a committee of bad lawyers.

I'll be danged. My feedback shows "top rated seller" on my auctions, but I am not a power seller - far from it. Have 3 with 5 stars and 1 with 4.9

It looks like 'top seller' will be offered even to people who only sell 400 items a year and $3,000.00 or more unless I read it really wrong. There are several scenarios shown in the info with different amounts of items and money but seem to be low, the kicker is the DSR's of course.

I read an article this morning that makes understanding TSR a little easier. I am not sure how accurate the article is but I do like the part about TSR qualified sellers will see the 20% FVF discount again for free shipping.
