Just a warning for people who's using vendio checkout. I recently got suspended by eBay since a buyer report my checkout email (from vendio) are spoof email (which is ridiculous since the payment link direct to paypal). eBay suspend my a/c without furthering investing and remove all my listing (new and old). Not sure what to do at this point but I doubt I could recover my a/c as none of my email to eBay has been answer...

Can you ask Vendio to speak to Ebay on your behalf?

I try calling eBay and they told me the only way to fix this is via the contract us at eBay...and I sent 3 emails but no reply as of yet.
Just email vendio and gonna see if they can help. I will keep everyone updated.
Well basically. I have a buyer complaint to eBay about my vendio checkout email being spoof email. Below is a copy of her email:
--------------------------------------------
Hello. First let me ask you that after you finish reading this email, if you need to contact me, ONLY REPLY TO ME THROUGH eBay.
I notified both eBay and Pay Pal of two emails in particular that I had received regarding these items that were proven to be spoof emails. These two emails had requested me to click on the link in the emails to make a payment. Pay Pal confirmed that these were spoof. Under these circumstances, PayPal instructed me to cancel the invoice.
While you could be 100% legitimate, under the circumstances I mention above I ask you to please accept my retraction of both bids.
Thank you most kindly.
---------------------------------------------
A day later I get suspend from eBay (MC183 FPA NOTICE: eBay Registration Suspension - Section 9). One of my customer was nice enough to forward me an email he receives from eBay and from that email I realize I am suspended due to vendio checkout email since my a/c was never hack and eBay never even bother to question me or email me anything about my a/c. Below is a copy of his email from eBay.

MC139 TKO ? Communication Partner Warning - RECIPIENT
Our records show that you recently contacted or received messages from koe_treasures through eBay's messaging system. This account was recently found to have been accessed by an unauthorized third party, who may have used the account in an attempt to defraud other members.
We've taken action to restore this account to the original owner, but wanted to let you know to be suspicious of any communication you may have received from them. Nothing is wrong with your account at this time ? this message is just being sent as a precaution. If you have received any messages from that appears suspicious, please feel free to forward them to us at [email protected] for review.
-- Safety Tips --
-- Don't respond to the sender, through either eBay or your email provider, if the message is an offer to buy or sell an item. This type of offer may be fraudulent, and the transaction won't be covered by eBay protection programs.
- - If you received what appears to be a Second Chance Offer for an item you recently bid on, and it appears in My Messages with the subject of "Message from eBay Member," it isn't a legitimate Second Chance Offer.
Real Second Chance Offers appear in My Messages with a blue background and subject that says, "eBay Second Chance Offer for Item...". Always check for both the blue background in My Messages and the subject line of "eBay Second Chance Offer for Item?" when responding to a Second Chance Offer.
-- Never pay for your eBay items using instant cash wire transfer services such as Western Union or MoneyGram. It is against eBay's Safe Payments Policy for a seller to request payment with these methods, as these types of payments are unsafe if you're paying someone you don't know.
-- If You've Already Sent Payment or Shipped an Item --
- - If you already sent payment for an off-eBay transaction, or if you're a seller who already shipped an item to a fraudulent buyer, we suggest you take the following steps:
-- Contact the payment service you used to make the purchase. If you paid by credit card, most card issuers provide consumer protections in instances of online fraud.
- - If you sold and shipped an item to a fraudulent buyer, contact the carrier you used to ship the item. You might be able to receive additional assistance from the shipping service. If it was sent through the United States Postal Service, you may want to file mail fraud charges. Please go to:
http://www.usps.gov/websites/depart/inspect/
- - Report the fraudulent buyer or seller both to law enforcement officials in your area, and in the area where the buyer or seller lives. To find law enforcement agencies by area, please visit:
http://www.usacops.com
When you contact a law enforcement officer, please explain the following:
- eBay will be happy to help with the officer's investigation.
- For more information on how the officer can contact eBay, go to:
http://pages.ebay.com/securitycenter/law_enforcement.html
-- You may also want to file a complaint with the Internet Crime Complaint Center (IC3). The IC3 is a partnership between the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the National White Collar Crime Center. The IC3 will review complaints and refer information to the appropriate local, state, or federal agency. To file a complaint with the IC3, please go to:
http://www.ic3.gov/
We also need you to take a few minutes to provide more information related to the transaction. The information you provide will allow us to work more effectively with law enforcement should an investigation occur. Please go to:

Did you receive this message through eBay's message system or through and email.
This message sounds like a spoof itself. I direct you to the line "Nothing is wrong with your account at this time ?" this is not a question and has the wrong punctuation.
At any rate where do you believe they are suspending you.
an email he receives from eBay and from that email I realize I am suspended due to vendio checkout email
There didn't appear to be any reference to a Vendio checkout email in either the original letter from the original bidder that retracted their bids nor from eBay themselves to one of your other buyers warning about a possible account-breach.
As for your sending an email that says to click on a link within it in order to submit payment - perhaps they are exaggerating or aren't referring to your actual winning bidder email as the email you would have sent out simply asks them to click a link in order to go through the checkout process - where eventually they would be redirected into the PayPal.com website if that was the method of payment they ended up selecting.
It's unfortunate but it sounds like someone at PayPal didn't check into the issue at all and eBay must have just taken their word for it and assumed that your account had somehow actually been shown as to be hacked into by another party.
We look forward to working with you over the details via email.

Your eBay account has been suspended. eBay took this action after determining that your account was acting inconsistently with the letter or spirit of our policies.
You are prohibited from using eBay in any way. This includes using another existing account or registering a new account.Any seller fees that are still owed are due to eBay immediately. eBay will charge any amounts that you have not previously disputed to the billing method that is currently on file.
Sincerely,
eBay Trust & Safety

I give up try to recover my a/c. It's been a week and i have not heard anything from them. As for vendio support, they are helpful but nothing they can do either. Here's an email from them.

Unfortunately, this is something that eBay will need to look into and correct for you, as it appears to have been an eBay or PayPal mistake that caused the problem.
Kind regards,

rainyelel - a matter as serious as this requires you to do more than send an email. When you send an email, there is no record of receipt, and the recipient can ignore your mail.
You should write a letter to Trust & Safety at ebay. Send it Certified Mail, with Return Receipt, so that you have a written record of the writing, and proof of receipt by someone at ebay.
If you have difficulty with such tasks, ask someone to help you write the letter.
Further, I am confused. Which seller ID was suspended - rainyelel, or koe_treasures? Both IDs appear to have had some activity.

koe_treasures is my a/c. I tried email them like 6 times already but nothing. Yes I will write to them but only problem is I cant find an address to write to them.

Bill's right. OK to try calling, but mail a trackable letter to trust & safety (I'd also copy it to their legal department). Vendio, I hope you're taking all steps necessary to clear this up.

It is odd that Ebay does not respond to suspension inquiry, usually they will acknowledge receipt of your email and state that you will hear a response from them ?

One thing I notice is that your rating is only 3 when I checked your account id, and you are registered in Canada.
This may be why you are not making progress in your attempts to resolve problems. Not that it is right, but the reality is that most accounts that are used for fraud are obviously new sellers with little or no ratings.
I would write ebay a letter, send it certified/registered mail. Explain everything, and ask them questions in the letter to detail specifics why they suspended you.
Also, file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. Most major companies belong to the BBB and will respond quickly, almost always working with you b/c they don't want a negative mark showing through the BBB website.
If neither of these work, then file a complaint with your local Attorney General's office, or other government office that handles consumer complaints against companies. Most businesses take government involvement seriously. They don't want any investigations from Uncle Sam, Big Brother, or Captain Canuck (for those Canadiens).

We dont know if the email which got her into trouble with Paypal and Ebay really come from her.
Hers is an email from Vendio with a clickable link to Paypal and it seems that the email(s) Ebay and Paypal are looking into which her buyer claimed to have received from her and forwarded to Ebay has a clickable link to some fraudulent site?
Here is what Ebay said to one of her bidders-

"We've taken action to restore this account to the original owner..."
This statement is odd. Ebay is telling one of her customers that ebay has taken action to restore the account to the original owner, but according to her, they've pretty much ignored her.
I would use this statement in my complaint with the BBB. If eBay's intentions were to really restore the account to the original owner, why haven't they done so, or at least communicated with her?
I'm afraid calling eBay won't get very far. I called them about 8 months ago when a bidder contacted me 46 days after receiving their item. They wanted to return it b/c they claimed it was a fake Nike item. I emailed them and told them that I purchased it at the Nike store here in Portland. In the meantime, they filed a complaint that I sold them a fake item. They never returned it, never returned my emails, never followed thru with ebay. In the meantime, eBay blocked me from listing anything with the word "Nike" in it for at least 30 days. The guy was a fraud, but I'm the one who was punished. When I called eBay, their rep told me he doesn't have any info regarding the matter and there was nothing he could do. These guys sit in veal fattening pens all day long and read computer scrpts. That's about it.
I say, write them directly and file a complaint with the BBB. If that doesn't get things moving, I would file a complaint with the local government consumer complaints division. Usuaully that is handled by the state you reside, so I imagine it would be a Provencial office in Canada.

JUST a FYI, I had the same thing happen to me last year and even with a registered letter I never got my account back, I had a rating of only 98 at the time. Best bet is to for get about it and move on. Change your computer's network card and create another account. Ps they use your mac address to identify your ban'd computer.

If you have successfully created a new Ebay ID on a new pc or mac, dont ever go back to your old suspended Ebay ID with your new pc,this is how they find out new and old are the same person!
