Just a heads up on the best offer features. I had a buyer make an offer, but added a stipulation that I include free shipping. I didn't see the free shipping request, otherwise I would have declined it. Not a big loss, but just worth mentioning.
Is there a way to block all buyer terms for Best Offer? We should have an option to offer it with our terms only.

Be careful of this as well. I had a buyer make an offer and as I had put in a OK to accept over this amount the offer was accepted. When I invoiced with shipping - the buyer wrote back stating that she had stipulated free shipping. I thought WOW - looks like I should have been notified of the additional terms. I later realized that she had not put anything under terms but under comments. Turns out that ebay won't let it be accepted automatically if there are any other terms.

I'm starting really wonder about this buyer. I had to open a dispute to get him to pay. He now claims he had sent two requests to correct the shipping error previously thru ebay's request for invoice system. I never received anything regarding this. I did receive a request to send an invoice, which I resent the same day of the request.
Here is the dispute info. Tell me if I am out of line for asking for additional information so that I can contact ebay IF there truly is a problem. It is cronological from most recent message back.

"I will ship your item to you tomorrow. If you would be so kind as to forward copies of the emails so that I can contact ebay regarding this problem. I have double checked my inbox (both email and ebay's messaging system) for the dates you gave and find no messages requesting the corrections be made. I should notify ebay regarding problems with their messaging system so that it does not happen in the future. It would obviously save time and prevent miscommunication. Thanks,"

"Messages were sent on 9/16 and 9/21 through eBay's Request Total From Seller function. I received copies in my inbox. Both clearly requested shipping charges be removed.
The seller has now reinvoiced without shipping and I have paid for the item through PayPal as promised. Mike"

"The original invoice did include shipping, however I never received any message from bidder requesting a correction to the invoice. Only that he did not receive an invoice. I have sent a corrected invoice
including free shipping."

"My offer of $21.00 with the terms “shipping included” was accepted by this seller. When I received the invoice a shipping charge of $5.95 was included which I cannot override at payment through PayPal. I have TWICE contacted the seller to reinvoice me at the agreed-upon price and terms but this has not
happened and the shipping charge remains. When this seller reinvoices me for the agreed upon price and terms I will pay immediately. I will pay $1.75 insurance offered by the seller. Mike"

eBay continues to create these messes! How easy would it be to offer a down box saying: Additional Buyer Request: indicate yes or no.
One of these would be free shipping and buyer could say or counteroffer.
EBay has become so cumbersome. I sell books on Amazon and it is wham/bam/thank you mam without a worry or look back.
eBay has become a giant pain. Unfortunately no stand alone site has been able to date to equal eBay stats.

My customer forwarded the two messages he sent requesting corrections to the invoice. Neither one I received. I checked my emails and my ebay messages... nothing.
I just don't get how ebay thinks their system helps things go smoothly. My customer waited a week for me to respond, but I didn't receive the messages. I file a NPB dispute and obviously he got defensive, which I don't blame him.
We've worked it out, but I am not happy with ebay in the process. Hopefully I have salvaged my DSRs with this customer. If I get hit it isn't my fault, but it will be represented that way.
