I just answered a question and I noticed the following. Plus there was no longer an option to hide your email address. I knew this day would come.
Note: eBay will send your message to the recipient's My Messages Inbox and email address. If you and XXXX haven't bought or sold from each other recently, both of your email addresses may be substituted with an anonymous email address to protect your privacy and online safety.

I haven't seen that one yet - next they'll just hide our seller id's altogether. I guess I'll start including my email in secret coded form on my contacts.

Have you ever tried to answer a question from a buyer by clicking "respond" on your email system instead of thru ebay messaging?
It will reveal the bidders email address anyways. It has done this since ebay's messaging started.

shagmidmod, you are right - I just tried and it is still there. This must be an oversight on ebay's part. So now I guess you can't hide your email even if you want to.

That has been going on forever.
The other "glitch" I have encountered:
I have two ebay accounts. If I receive a question from bidder by email and respond using the "respond to sender" button on the email, I need to make sure I am also signed onto the correct account on ebay. Otherwise the question gets answered from the wrong account. This obviously confuses a potential bidder and makes them leary of a scam taking place. I have responded several times using the wrong account, only to catch it a few minutes later. I have to send an explanation to the sender about the mixup messages.
