I just got a RED correction notice when listing an auction item. It said my BIN price must be at least 10% higher than my starting price. Is this ANOTHER new rule??

I never heard this before. Some times I would make a BIN just a few cents more than my starting price if I wanted to move things.

Did I miss another rule change??

What is the point of this rule?? I guess they just want us to do FP, but they make more money charging us for the BIN!!

The point is -
Ebay has 13,000 rules and always looking to come up with more rules !

I think the BIN rule was done b/c people were using it to avoid the higher FVF for FP listings. This way ebay makes a few more bucks.

Ironic, for every new rule ebay makes i wonder how much profit they really make by sellers jumping ship.

The point for me is no more BINs. I can save the money I had to pay for that privilege. Most of the time someone bids and the BIN goes away any way. Half of those times the items sells for more than the BIN. Ebay just has to wait the 7 days to collect their money!

And look at all the extra money ebay is making from those who use "free shipping" since they now get a cut out of that amount (the shipping) too!
