Or is there a difference?
I'm thinking of getting one or the other - any help or suggestions?
Would either accommodate a Vendio Sales Manager Pro download?

I don't think the Netbook would have enough memory to download Sales Manager but I may be wrong. I think you can run with an external hard drive.

Hello,

An HP Mini 10 is a netbook with a 1.6 GHz processor, 1 GB of DDR2 SDRAM and a 16 GB Solid State flash drive.

You can get these with Windows XP SP2 installed on them, so the operating system and all of the system specs should run SMPRO perfectly.

Ive seen them at OfficeDepot lately for less than $300.

If however you plan to make this your primary computer, I would go with a regular notebook and not a netbook so you get the bigger screen and faster processor (and more memory and hard drive space for your other applications.)

If your just using it as a traveling computer, I think its fantastic. Plus if you have an OfficeDepot near you and you don't like it, you can just return it and not have to mess around with mailing it back to an online retailer.

Just a personal opinion of course, not an official stance of Vendio.

Good luck, let us know what you end up picking up and how you like it.

Basically, this is the difference.

No Internal DVD/CD drive. You would have to have another computer or a seperate drive to be able to download anything on a cd or dvd. without those, you also can't watch movies on dvd (if that is important to you).

Smaller Screen: size limited to below 12" (limited by the industry to keep people needing a laptop or pc).

Smaller Hard Drive: I've seen these with almost 200GB, so space is not that limited.

Processor: Limited capabilities/speed.

Keyboard: Tiny... very tiny.

Battery Life: Amazing. Some netbooks get almost 10 hours of life. I just saw the new Nokia at Best Buy will have 12 hours battery life, and will have Windows 7... but you have to sign up with ATT for 2 years service.

Portability: If you need something small to travel, but don't like using a smart phone, then a netbook makes sense.

RAM: Limited Ram, usually 1-2GB.

Christopher - That was the one I've been looking at on line.
I may go to Office Depot and check them out.
I have a IBM Think Pad and really like it, so I really just need something for trips and around town in the car.
Thanks everyone
