Hi everyone I am new to the online marketplace. I have been auctioning items on eBay for awhile (only my personal items). I lost my job and now I am auctioning items on ebay full time. I am procurring high end designer used apparel and have opened up a Vendio store (I did it today).

I have a question though...I impored my eBay auction items and unfortunately I imported all of my unsold items, sold items etc. I don't want my entire ebay databse in my vendio store.

Can anyone give me some tips on how to edit the store offerings to only show active auctions? I have been looking and looking and just can't find any info. When I go to a sold item in Vendio and try to delete it from my store it says I can't do that because ebay is running an active ad.

Any help would be most appreciative.

Lauren

Hello Lauren,

There isn't a way to have only your items that also have active eBay auctions appear in your Vendio Store, without manually selecting them, unfortunately. Also, we are aware of the problem with deleting items that are not active (but are giving an error that they are active when trying to delete them). Our engineers are working on correcting this problem, but I do not have an eta available at this time.

Regards,
Nathan

so basically it just has to stay that way and my prospective shoppers will have to scroll through a bunch of items that are showing up as "out of stock"?

Is there a way to delete this database and start over and only import items that are active?

Hello Lauren,

In order to remove them from your Vendio Store (so that they don't show as being out of stock), please select the items to edit and in the "Store Info" section select the "Not visible on Store" option. Please do not delete the items, as it is only possible to import the items once (it will not be possible to reimport them after they have been deleted).

Nathan

I have the same problem. I cannot go individually to each item and mark them as "Not visible on Store." If the available quantity is zero or less, it should NOT be visible through a global parameter for items.

I have hundreds of such items. What is fast way to do this task?

I agree with you. I think that this interface is still in beta which could explain these bugs.

Hello,

Your both in luck, there is already a quick and easy way to do exactly what you want with the Find and Replace tool found on the items page.

Ill post a screenshot below showing exactly how to set this up when you click to find and replace on your items page:

Chris,

Thank you, It is a great solution! Now I have another problem as below:
(Don't know how to paste a screen shot here, so I will describe w.r.t. my items in Vendio store):
For SKU 892207744, the available qty was shown as 0, I edited the item and made qty 23. However "On Market Qty" and "Qty on eBay Store" is 46 (double). So questions are:

1) Items import from ebay has some issues for some items and fetches qty 0.

2) Other quantities may not be correct, why? If I import twice, does not mean it should double other quantities ( as it did in this case, not all cases).

I have similar issues with other items, e.g. SKU 1143708800.

If the Vendio product is not perfect, I am ready to put my time to help give feedback, if the support responses are quick. However Inventory management is crucial and quantities should be correct.

Look forward to hear from you soon.

Hello Comicduchess.

The "Available Quantity" is the quantity that is not currently listed on market. So if you import an item with a quantity of 23 on the market, you should see "0" for "Available Quantity" and "23" for "Quantity on Market". If the item closes with no sales, then the Quantity on Market will become 0, and the Available Quantity will become 23.

In regards to the quantity on market discrepancies, I believe this is related to a known issue that our engineers are working on correcting. This problem can happen when you import multiple listings that have the same titles. We are working on correcting this problem, and hopefully it will be fixed soon.

Regards,
Nathan
