Does anyone know anything about them?? Do they sell better with the shoes and what are the collectors looking for?? tnx

They were the in thing several years ago. They were sold by the zillions many for big bucks. Then the collecting public turned on them and folks who spent lotsa bucks on a collection had a room full of landfill candidates.
I don't know there status now check eBay for them who knows they might be making a come back.
A few years ago someone donated a big box full for a toy drive, not one left the box after 2-3 years of lugging them to and from storage they got trashed. That's my Cabbage Patch story!
No shoes ummm I don't think they will sell very well.

A lady who worked for me in 1981 lined up for hours waiting for a Toy Store to open so she could buy one for her daughter.
They didn't endure however 2-3 yrs ago they started to produce some more and there was a brief resurgence. I have no idea what their status is now but I have Knitting patterns for the clothes so maybe I should check them out too!

OK, thanks. I've been carrying these around for about 8 yrs and finally dug them out to sell. There are a lot on Ebay. Yes you could crochet some clothes and they might go over good.

Otteropp: I'd list the knitting patterns for the Cabbage Patch dolls on eBay for sure, unless you want to hang onto them.
