Nov 5th I mailed a package to Largo Fl. Nov 9th delivery was attempted and notice left. Notice states that item can be picked up at the post office for 15 days.
I received the returned package today. WTF?

What else could they do? They must have attempted delivery and left a notice.

Take the package back to the post office and tell them it was returned in error. They should be able to look it up and see that it should have been held in Largo for 15 days starting Nov 9th. They should also re-deliver it for no additional charge.

Good luck! After I bragged on their great service last month, they are making up for it this month. The past 2 weeks have changed to extremely slow deliveries and mis-directed packages. Does not bode well since we are not even into the heavy Christmas shipping yet.

I would go as far as to ask for a shipping refund so that you can give a refund to your customer who was inconvenienced by their error. They may not do it, but you never know and it doesn't hurt to ask.
