I'm having a lot of issues with pages loading and no search results. Is it just me?

It's not just you. It started for me a few hours ago being unable to search for users by user ID, now search is failing as well.

It is now on their System Announcements. It seems to have been down since about 10.30am PST.

No Search avalable and not much else either.
You can get into 'My EBay' and the Community Boards which are just hopping!

It comes as no surprise that even after all these hours and posting an Announcement they have still forgotten to tell their Customer Service reps who are telling folks to Clear their Cookies etc. because there is nothing wrong with EBay!!!

Here's the latest

" **Updated: Issues with Search results and eBay Stores***

November 21, 2009 | 01:37PM PST/PT

Due to errors in some of our backend systems, members may be seeing different errors in Search. This could be that "We were unable to run the search results you entered. Please try again in a few minutes" or a blank page, or simply the browser being unable to display the page.
This is also affecting the ability to access eBay Stores through search directly, and sometimes from the store URL.

Please note that we are working as quickly as possible to get this resolved. Thank you for your patience as we continue to work to resolve this. "

Thanks all...I can always depend on the folks here to keep me informed...I just tried a search with no results so am relieved (sort of) that it's eBay and not me.

Seems like the OLD Ebay. I wonder if we will get refunds for items that ended that no one could find to buy??

Merrie, you know how that works, they almost never admit to making an error and are very reluctant to give refunds. I wondered why so many of my auctions ended without bids! So glad people here post what is going on so we know it isn't just us. Thanks to all.

if you go to ebay answer center, or ebay announcement page, you'll see there is some type of refund available.

They say you don't have to request the refunds, and that they'll be automatic in a week or two.

I wrote ebay anyway to see exactly why kind of refunds are being give. Insertion fees or just final value fees or both or what? I highly doubt they'll refund me for sales that ended at a low price with only a few bidders, when there shoulda been lots of bidders at a higher price.

FYI.
